How SocioStory began

SocioStory was started in 2019 by Manoj, Rachna Saxena and Prajjwal Sinha, under the guidance of Avadhesh Dixit.

The idea

Recognise the hard work of social workers who rarely make the news.

Across India, people run schools, shelters, clinics and campaigns in their own communities. Most of that work is never written about, so it rarely reaches the people who could support it.

SocioStory set out to change that by telling their stories, one at a time, and by bringing changemakers, NGOs and CSR leaders into the same room.
