How it works
How volunteering on SocioStory works
Every hour on your certificate was recorded at the drive, from your check-in and the organiser’s sign-off, so it means something to colleges and employers.
- 1
Sign up for a seat
Pick a drive and take a seat, through your college's SocioStory Centre or from the public listing. Drives are for volunteers aged 18 and over.
- 2
Check in with the QR code
At the drive, scan the QR code the coordinator shows, once when you arrive and once when you leave.
- 3
Get your certificate
The NGO's coordinator signs off the roster, and your hours go on a certificate with its own page, where anyone can check it's genuine.
