Our promises
To the people in your story
A story is only worth telling if the people in it are safe and respected. These rules apply to every story, every time.
We publish identifiable people only with their consent.
We never publish anything that identifies a child victim or a child in care, and we blur children's faces by default.
We remove location data from every photo before it is published.
We check the facts against the record of the work wherever we can.
We never publish paid stories. Partner updates from CSR teams are always labelled.
