In our weekly mailer

Conversations with the people who run India’s CSR programmes: what works, what doesn’t, and why. We’d like to talk to yours.

Be seen for the good you already do

Most CSR work never reaches the people who'd be moved by it. We change that, with your team and ours.

  1. 01

An interview with your CSR head

Our editors sit down with your CSR head for The CSR Desk: the thinking behind your programmes, in their own words.

  2. 02

    Your programmes' stories, told well

Publish the stories of your projects and the people they reach. Our editors help your team shape them, with photos and numbers.

  3. 03

In front of 50,000+ readers every week

We include your stories in our weekly mailer to more than 50,000 people across the world, and feature the best on our home page.

  4. 04

    Employee volunteering, on record

Tell the story of your people's volunteering, with the numbers from the drive: volunteers, hours given and people reached.

  5. 05

    Updates, like LinkedIn

Post milestones and photos from the field on your profile. Everyone who follows your foundation sees them in their feed.

  6. 06

    A home for your foundation

One page for your programmes, the causes and states you work in, and your stories: the link to send when people ask what you do.

How it works

From your work to the weekly mailer

  1. 1

    Create your free workspace

Choose “At a company or its CSR foundation”, add your organisation and invite your team.

  2. 2

    Tell us your story

Write it yourself, or send us the facts and photos. Put your CSR head forward for an interview.

  3. 3

    Our editors shape it

We check consent and safety and help with the writing. Your team's stories are labelled as partner updates.

  4. 4

    It reaches 50,000+ readers

Published on SocioStory, sent out in our weekly mailer and yours to share.

And when you want to do more

We also help CSR teams put their plans to work on the ground.

  • NGO partners for your projects

Tell us the causes and districts you fund. We help you shortlist NGOs doing good work there to implement your projects, and you can follow their updates and talk to them here.

  • Volunteers for your drives

Plan a drive with a partner NGO. Seats go to nearby college Centres first, then to everyone, with a certificate for every volunteer's hours.

  • Colleges for awareness

Take an awareness campaign to students through SocioStory Centres, led by student Social Leaders on each campus.

SocioStory publishes stories and helps you find partners; we don’t audit NGOs’ finances or compliance, so do your own due diligence before you fund. Browse NGOs on SocioStory

Know the rules as well as the work

Free courses for your team, with certificates anyone can check are genuine.

  1. 01

    CSR Law in Depth

Section 135, the CSR Rules as amended in 2026, unspent money, penalties and impact assessment.

  2. 02

    Running a CSR Foundation

Governance, grant-making, due diligence and reporting for foundation teams.

  3. 03

    SDGs and India

Link your portfolio to the Sustainable Development Goals, and report on them honestly.

Questions people ask

Something else? Write to us from the contact page.

What does it cost?
Nothing. SocioStory is free for companies and CSR foundations: stories, interviews, the weekly mailer, your profile and updates, team workspaces and the Academy.
How many people will see our stories?
Our weekly mailer goes to more than 50,000 people across the world. Stories are also published on SocioStory, and the best lead our home page.
Who writes the stories and interviews?
Your team can write stories with our editors' help, or send us the facts and photos and we'll shape them. The CSR Desk interviews are conducted and written by our editors.
Is this paid promotion?
No. We never publish paid stories. Stories your team writes are published as clearly labelled partner updates, and our editors check every story before it goes live.
Can you help us find NGOs to implement our projects?
Yes. Tell us the causes and districts you fund, and we'll help you shortlist NGOs doing good work there. You can follow their updates and talk to them on SocioStory. We don't audit NGOs, so do your own due diligence before funding.
Our company and our foundation are separate legal entities. Do we need two accounts?
No. Your CSR foundation is your company's social wing, so both work from one shared workspace. Add the parent company on your profile.
